Sealants

No matter how often and for how long you brush your teeth, there are always some areas on your teeth that are difficult to clean. The most prone areas are the pits , grooves and fissures on the back molar teeth which are known to trap acidic, sugary food and debris. This trapped food causes decay and cavities.

Fortunately, you can protect these areas of your mouth from decay and damage with dental sealants.

Dental sealants are plastic coating material that’s administered to the pits, grooves, and fissures of the molars to protect them from decay.

The treatment is non-invasive, pain-free and strongly recommended for all patients, especially for children.

Fluoride Treatment

Fluoride rebuilds the enamel on your teeth, it strengthens your teeth’s defense against decay. Fluoride treatment is simple and completely painless. At the end of your 6 month cleaning, fluoride gel is applied to your teeth. This gel is absorbed through your teeth. You can go about the rest of your day and the gel does not even need to be washed away. We just recommend no eating or drinking for 30 minutes. That’s it!
